Parvati Hill is a hillock in Pune. The hillock rises to 2,100 feet above sea level Atop the hillock is the Parvati Temple Pune
Parvati hill was developed by Nanasaheb Peshwa in 1749. one of the most scenic locations in Pune. A top the hillock is the Parvati Temple.the temple is the oldest heritage structure in Pune and was built during the rule of the Peshwa dynasty. Apart from the temples, there is also a Parvati museum that houses replicas of old manuscripts as well as paintings. The wooden pillars and ceiling present in the museum is the original dwelling.
There is Museum on Parvati hill. it is very good and holds various paintings, artifacts, weapons, manuscripts and coins from the Peshwa Era. The museum is also the Samadhi Sthan of Shrimant Nanasaheb Peshwa. This temple dedicated to Lord Shiva's wife Parvati ji is an attractive place. Parvati Museum and Parvati Hills have also been built near this temple.
